Lisa Manning

Lisa recently completed a yearlong traineeship as part of the New to Nature campaign as a Policy & Engagement Officer at Wildlife and Countryside Link. She has secured an additional year of employment in this role managing the invasive non-native species & trees and woodlands policy working groups.

New to Nature is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and delivered by Groundwork, the Youth Environmental Service, The Prince's Trust, Disability Rights UK and Mission Diverse. This scheme provided 98 trainees from disadvantaged backgrounds with a year of paid employment and training in the environmental sector. 

Lisa has a first-class BSc degree in Geography from the University of Sussex where she completed a Membership Internship with The Green Party in Brighton. After graduating in 2021 she began working at her local National Trust sites in Bedfordshire (Dunstable Downs, Ashridge Estate and Shaw's Corner) as a Visitor Experience Officer, managing the social media channels and website.
